MANUAL WELDER - RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely set up parts for welding using hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions. Align, position, and fit components into fixtures according to specifications. Set up and operate automated welding equipment as required. Monitor weld quality and make adjustments as necessary. Ensure completed work meets quality standards and customer specifications. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MANUAL WELDER - JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and other applicable processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Previous welding experience or completion of a welding trade school program required. Successful completion of an in-house welding test required. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. High school diploma or GED required.
