Job Description
Job Overview Pay = Experience/Qualifications and Weld Test. 1st shift Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various materials while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on metals and other materials as required. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently. Fabricate components according to design specifications using sheet metal and ductwork. Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in welding with knowledge of ASME codes & standards. Familiarity with various welding processes including FCAW, MIG, TIG, soldering, and plasma cutting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and angles. Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery such as press brake machines and machining tools is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.
