Candidates will be welding and fabricating metal components, reading/interpreting blueprints, and utilizing various tools and equipment to complete projects.

•Students who are currently enrolled in welding/fabrication courses are encouraged to apply. We are able to offer part time positions that may lead to full time job opportunities once courses & certifications are complete.

Day Shift:

Monday - Friday, Day Shift, Overtime may be offered depending on workload and deadlines. Duties/Responsibilities & Qualifications

AWS & ASME

Code Certified. This position will work production on the floor in heavy steel fabrication and repair shops. Applicant will be performing the following duties regularly; Line Boring (enlarging or repairing existing holes/making new holes, fitting parts, and welding of various types of metal. Applicant must be able to read and understand blueprints in order to utilize the information to make/repair parts. Applicant must be skilled in use of welders, various hand tools, and power tools. Applicant must be able to read micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers. Applicant must be able to work under minimal supervision and must be able to safely operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to, overhead cranes, forklifts, and trucks. This position requires constant standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50lbs.) EEOC -
