Job Description
Hiring For Experienced Welders/Fitters - Pay $20-27/hr - START ASAP!!! This position is for a skilled welder/fitter who can proficiently read blueprints and work with mild steel. You will be working on large mining equipment such as Dump Bodies, Fuel Bodies, and Lube Trucks. Comfort with FCAW welding in all positions is essential.
SHIFT :
Days:
5a-3:30p (Mon-Thurs) Responsibilities Perform welding and fitting tasks on large mining equipment. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Work with mild steel, ensuring precision and quality. Execute FCAW welding in all positions. Participate in fabrication tasks including wrenching valves, pipe, and hydraulic assemblies. Essential Skills Proficiency in welding, particularly MIG and 4G. Strong experience in Flux Core welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with steel fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Entry-level candidates may be considered, subject to a welding test. Experience in assembling and fabricating parts is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a large, very clean manufacturing shop with approximately 75 employees, operating under lean manufacturing principles. You will work with welding and fabrication equipment on heavy mining components in a structured, safety-focused environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Post Falls, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
