Job Description
Job Overview:
HMFG is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating & welding metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Enjoy a 4/10 work schedule in our new state-of-the-art facility where you will use the latest technology in welding equipment with ergonomic work stations.Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks using various techniques, including
MIG & TIG.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Build and assemble metal structures and equipment according to specifications
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficient in welding techniques such as
MIG, TIG.
- Experience with sheet metal & structural fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with various hand tools used in metalworking
- Knowledge of plasma cutting equipment operation
- Strong ability to build and assemble metal structures or equipment accurately
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
