This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced welders to contribute to diverse projects on a temporary basis, ensuring high-quality metal fabrication and assembly. Responsibilities Perform welding operations using MIG (Metal Inert Gas) processes in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards and ASME codes. Fabricating various material handling racks, containers and carts. Measure metal materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure precise fabrication. Operate power tools, grinders, hand tools, plasma cutters MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently. Fabricate sheet metal components and assemble metal structures following detailed specifications. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all welding and fabrication activities to maintain a safe work environment. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to welding equipment or fabrication processes. Maintain cleanliness of work area, inspect finished welds for quality, and document work progress as required. This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours who are committed to quality craftsmanship in a team-oriented environment.
