MANUFACTURING WELDER
  • 2ND SHIFT Kress is looking for a full time Manufacturing Welder
  • 2nd shift to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries. The Manufacturing Welder will independently assemble, fit, and weld together metal components to specification using electric arc-welding equipment. Responsibilities

  • Manually support and guide weld gun along weld lines
    Flat, horizontal, overhead, and vertical weld positions
    Manually groove or scarf surface with oxy-fuel cutting torch
    Maintain quality and Kress Corporation safety standards Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
    Multi pass welding experience
    Flux core experience a plus
    Candidate must successfully complete a Kress administered welding test Kress Benefits
