Full-time | Monday-Friday Job Summary We are seeking a skilled TIG/MIG Welder to join a growing team in Champaign, IL. This role involves performing precision TIG/MIG welding on a variety of metals while ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety procedures. The ideal candidate has experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and other thin-gauge materials and can read blueprints and fabrication drawings. Key Responsibilities Perform TIG/MIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings Prepare materials for welding including cleaning, grinding, and fitting components Inspect welds to ensure strength, quality, and compliance with specifications Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG/MIG welders and related tools Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols Work closely with fabrication and production teams to complete projects on time Perform minor finishing work such as grinding, polishing, or deburring as needed Qualifications 2+ years of TIG/MIG welding experience preferred Experience welding stainless steel and/or aluminum Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to use hand tools, grinders, and measuring tools Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods Preferred Qualifications Welding certification (AWS or similar) Experience in fabrication or custom metal work Familiarity with other welding processes such as MIG/TIG welding Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Full-time, stable work schedule Opportunities for overtime Career growth within a growing company #
