Job Overview This skilled role is responsible for welding various metal structures and components. The welder will work with aluminum and steel to produce high-quality welds according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Responsibilities Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements. Set up components for welding according to specifications. Align components using fixtures, rulers etc. and clamp pieces. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical or horizontal). Inspect welded surfaces and structure for accuracy, completeness, and quality assurance. Operate grinder as necessary. Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualification Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in various welding processes and techniques, specifically the MIG process. Experience with both steel and aluminum welding. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
