Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder/Manufacturing Technician with minimum 3 years on the job experience to join our automotive lift parts production team. This role is responsible for welding, fabricating, machining, and assembling structural and mechanical components used in automotive lift systems, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities You will operate appropriate equipment to put together parts with a great deal of precision. Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures Operate manufacturing equipment such as presses, saws, grinders, drill press, mill, lathe, and welding fixtures Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements) Fabricate, assemble, and fit metal parts and subassemblies Weld automotive lift components using MIG welding techniques Inspect finished welds and components for quality and dimensional accuracy Maintain, repair, and clean equipment after use Possess a positive attitude, team mindset and work in an efficient manner Skills Proven 3 years of experience as fabricator Experience using a variety of welding equipment and machines Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings. Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) Deftness and attention to detail Proficient in English Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) is required
