Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in different welding methods such as MIG and TIG. The Welder will work on components at our facility, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and industry codes. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements. Perform MIG and TIG welding with precision to meet project specifications. Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Use tape measures and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of components. Assist with forklift and crane operations for lifting heavy materials or equipment as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and industry standards such as ASME codes & standards. Collaborate with team members in the shop to complete projects on time and within specifications. Perform basic math calculations related to measurements, material quantities, and welding parameters.
