Job Description

Welder / Fabricator 3-Day Weekend Every Week | Monday-Thursday ? Schiller Park, IL ? $20.00 - $24.00 per Hour (Based on Experience) ⏰
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM ✅ Full-Time | Day Shift Looking for More Than Repetitive Production Welding? Gain hands-on experience with advanced fabrication equipment, including laser technology. Grow beyond basic production welding with custom fabrication projects. ✅ Variety in Your Day Approximately 50% welding and 50% fabrication. Every project is different, helping you continuously develop your craft. What You'll Be Doing Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel. Perform MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel. Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings. Layout, fit, and assemble parts for fabrication projects. Grind, deburr, and finish components. Operate fabrication equipment, including laser cutting equipment. Use measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of professional welding experience . Experience with both MIG and TIG welding . Ability to read basic blueprints. Comfortable using a tape measure and working to precise specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Preferred Qualifications Welding school graduate or technical training. Experience welding aluminum and stainless steel. Laser cutting or fabrication equipment experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
