MIG Welder Job Description:

Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies Fabricate and assemble components according to production specifications Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Measure, fit, tack, and weld components accurately Use grinders, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy Make adjustments or corrections as needed to meet specifications Maintain welding equipment and a clean, organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and proper welding practices Work closely with other production team members to meet quality and production goals Complete additional fabrication and production duties as assigned

MIG Welder Job Requirements:

Previous MIG welding experience required Previous manufacturing, fabrication, structural, or production welding experience preferred Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and measurements Comfortable using welding, grinding, and fabrication tools Ability to produce consistent, quality welds Strong attention to detail and workmanship Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled overtime when needed Willingness to complete a weld test as part of the hiring process PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
