The ideal candidate will be a certified welder by AWS, a high school diploma or GED, and have proven experience as a Welder Fitter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. This role will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate metal components. Successful candidates will be motivated, self-directed/ self-starters, mechanically inclined, and well organized. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with a requirement to commute or relocate to Evansville, IN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adherent to all Safety Protocols. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate metal components accurately. Fit/align metal components accurately. Prepare metal materials. Prepare Weld Joints. Select/Set-up welding equipment. Perform welding tasks using Mig, Tig, Stick on various types of metal including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum. Perform welding tasks on piping, as well as structural components. Maintain work records such as leak tests and weld IDs. Inspect completed welds for quality. Ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize fabrication processes and improve production efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized work environment. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Certified Welder by AWS Proven Experience as a Welder Fitter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Deep understanding of welding techniques, materials, and equipment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels in the organization.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements:

Manually lifting up to 70 pounds. Use of written and oral communication. Capable of standing/walking more than 80% of work time. 100% of working time (except for assigned breaks) is spent on the production floor.
