About us Upright Iron Works Inc is a growing miscellaneous metal fabricator with lots of growth potential. We are interested in hiring the next team member to help us grow. .
Our work environment includes:

Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and weld various metal components according to blueprints and specifications
  • Operate and maintain fabrication equipment such as welding machines, plasma cutters, and pipe coping machine and pipe bender
  • Perform assembly and installation of fabricated components
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to codes and standards
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fabricating and welding metal components
  • Proficient in reading blueprints
  • Experience with mig welding process
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication principles
  • Ability to solder and braze metal components
  • Familiarity with pipe coping and beveling materials for weld penetration
  • Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling
  • Knowledge of machining processes for fabrication purposes We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
