Job Description
Welder Fabricator This position is temporary with the opportunity to be hired on full time Location Hammond, IN Pay Rate $24.00/hr Shift/Schedule 7:00am - 3:30pm M-F Overtime / Weekends as needed Position Summary Integrity Trade Services is seeking a welder fabricator for an industrial manufacturing client in Hammond. Responsibilities Fabricate steel molds, forms, and frames for castable refractory products Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and templates Perform MIG and occasional stick welding with strong weld quality on structural 1/4\"+ A36 steel, rebar, and anchors. Operate cutting, grinding, and forming tools (acetylene torch, band saw, hand grinders, rolling machines, etc.) Conduct quality checks for welds and final fit Assist with custom fabrication, jig creation, and shop improvements Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate) Proficient with MIG welding; stick welding a plus Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Must be able to lift 40+ lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor in a shop environment High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license Why choose Integrity Trade Services?
