Schedule Training:
Monday-Friday, 1st shift (6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.), up to 6 months.
Post-training:
2nd shift (2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.) or 3rd shift (10:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.). Pay Start at $27.07/hour Increase to $28.39/hour after 12 months What you'll tackle Execute repair and production welds on castings to Class A criteria (FPI and X-Ray acceptance). Perform occasional maintenance/fixture welding across varied alloys, including aluminum. Build and apply copper backups to enable high-quality welds. Operate AC/DC welding power sources; manage all torch components in-process. Select weld wire alloy type and diameter appropriate to each job. Tune power source parameters and set shielding gas for torch and backups. Blend welds to specified contours and finish on repair and production work. When acting as a weld blender, prepare welds as required. When acting as a weld blender, complete finishing, rework, and metal cleaning as needed in line with Metal Cell Operator (MCO) responsibilities.
