Job Description
Full job description At Bryan Steam, we're not just hiring for today, we're building for tomorrow. As a Welder at Bryan Steam, you'll play a key role in fabricating and assembling metal components for a variety of manufacturing projects. We're looking for detail-oriented, safety-minded individuals who are passionate about their craft and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, union-hourly position located in Peru, IN. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned : Perform MIG Welding Bracing ETC, according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding processes. Fabricate and assemble metal parts with precision. Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards. Troubleshoot and adjust machines to maintain consistent production. Follow all safety and manufacturing protocols. Other duties or special projects as assigned. Must provide own hand tools per Labor Contract The Ideal Candidate will have a knowledge of: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and welding symbols. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Familiarity with welding tools, materials, and safety procedures. Critical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to visualize and work with parts in different configurations.
