Welder Job Description Join our team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for all fabrication work related to the R D department. You will be involved in prototyping new builds for production using your MIG/TIG welding skills on aluminum. Your role will include fabricating brackets and following blueprints to ensure all parts meet specifications. Responsibilities Perform fabrication work for the R D department. Prototype new builds for production. Conduct MIG/TIG welding on aluminum. Fabricate brackets and other components. Follow blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications. Essential Skills 2 years of experience with aluminum welding. Ability to read prints and weld symbols. Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding techniques. Capability to set up and operate welding equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with butt welds and t-joint welds. Skilled in welding thin materials. Why Work Here? Work Environment Enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
