welding experience Ability to weld vertical and out-of-position joints Experience with structural steel fabrication Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Ability to fit, tack, and inspect welded assemblies Ability to complete in-house weld certification within the first 30 days Ability to operate grinders, torches, and fabrication equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Skills FCAW experience Prior AWS or structural weld certifications Heavy fabrication experience Ironwork background Experience welding in 3G vertical position Experience working from weld symbol specifications Job Responsibilities Perform GMAW welding on structural components in multiple positions Weld vertical and out-of-position joints, including 3G vertical Fit and tack structural assemblies according to blueprint requirements Inspect assemblies for conformance to blueprints and weld symbols Operate grinders, torches, and fabrication equipment Complete in-house welding certification requirements within the first 30 days Support structural steel fabrication activities Maintain weld quality according to required specifications
