Job Description

Mercer Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components according to technical specifications, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. This role demands proficiency in various fabrication techniques, TIG Welding, and the ability to read and interpret detailed prints and schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate components using tools such as press brake machines, micrometers, and soldering equipment TIG Welding Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Assemble parts and structures based on engineering drawings and specifications Perform plumbing and insulation tasks as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in fabrication or a related trade preferred Proven experience in TIG Welding required Proven Mechanical skills preferred Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical schematics, and work instructions Familiarity with machining processes and equipment Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy machinery is a plus Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset Must be able to pass a drug test Must have a clean driving record
