Full Job Description Job Title:

Welder- Job Summary:

Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Location:

Lenexa, KS Pay:

$18.00- $20.00

Schedule:

1st and 2nd Shifts Available 1st shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM, M-F 2nd shift: 2:30pm-11pm, M-F ( will train on 1st shift)

Job Duties:

Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.

Minimum Requirements for the position:

High School diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in mathematics. Good penmanship. High degree of accuracy. Ability to life up to 50 pounds comfortably and ability to stand for the majority of the shift.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

MIG welding: 1 year (Required)
