Webco Manufacturing is seeking a Fabricator/MIG Welder to produce high-quality precision sheet metal parts for diverse industries. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, set up and operate MIG welding equipment, and fit, tack, and weld components to tight tolerances. Responsibilities include using fabrication tools, performing basic measurements and inspections, and following safety and quality procedures. You'll work in a team-based environment, support continuous improvement, and maintain a clean, organized work area while developing advanced fabrication and welding skills. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to produce metal components Set up and operate MIG welding equipment and related tools Fit, tack, and weld sheet metal and structural components to specification Use fabrication equipment such as brakes, shears, saws, and grinders Inspect welds and parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to tolerances Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Required Skills MIG welding Blueprint reading Sheet metal fabrication Measuring and layout Use of fabrication tools (saws, grinders, brakes) Weld inspection and quality checks Fixture setup and part fit-up Basic mechanical aptitude Shop math Safety procedures and PPE use
