Responsibilities:
- Proven Leadership Skills with experience as a working Welder / Fabricator in a Structural Steel Fabrication Environment.
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, and Stick.
- Knowledge of equipment for metal bending and shaping. Including press brake, plate roll, iron worker, band saw, overhead crane, plasma, oxygen / acetylene torch and use of power and hand tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of metalworking principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet required specifications.
- Must be dependable with the ability to complete projects on time and within budget,
- Safely lift and manipulate heavy steel components in place manually or by utilization of rigging equipment and cranes when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area with an emphasis on workplace safety.
