Metals Cincinnati Metals Fabrication Covington, KY Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Safety equipment provided Retirement plan Qualifications Fabrication Detail drawing interpretation Metal fabrication High school diploma or GED Driver's License Grinding tools Blueprint reading Welding Materials handling Polishing Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description About Us Cincinnati Metals Fabrication is a growing custom fabrication shop in Covington, KY specializing in commercial railings, stairs, mezzanines, and miscellaneous metal projects throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. We're looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder - Railings, Stairs, & Misc. Metals who takes pride in quality craftsmanship. This isn't repetitive production welding, our work requires layout, fitting, fabrication, and attention to detail. Every project is different, giving you the opportunity to build quality projects from raw material to finished assembly. We invest in our shop and our people. You'll work with modern fabrication equipment, including CNC Flat Table Laser, CNC Auto-fed Tube Laser, CNC Tube Bender, CNC Press Brake, and other equipment designed to help you work efficiently and produce high-quality results. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Layout, fit, fabricate, and weld custom metal products MIG weld carbon steel (TIG experience with stainless and aluminum is a plus) Grind, polish, and finish welds to architectural-quality standards Operate fabrication, welding, and material handling equipment safely Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What We're Looking For 3+ years of fabrication and welding experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills Experience with railings, stairs, structural steel, or miscellaneous metals preferred Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently Pride in producing quality work What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Four-day work week (Monday-Thursday) Paid Time Off (PTO) Health insurance options All tools, equipment, and PPE provided Modern, well-equipped fabrication shop Overtime opportunities Opportunity to grow with a growing company If you're a dependable fabricator who enjoys building quality custom metal projects and wants to work in a well-equipped shop with a strong team, we'd like to hear from you.
