Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient welding production processes. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development. This is a predominately onsite position at our welding/manufacturing facility in Florence, KY. However; travel to customer sites locally and nationally (including overnight stays) is required on average 10 weeks per year. Travel expenses will be paid for by the Company.
Shift:
Monday
- Friday, 7am
- 3:30pm Travel (required) Travel to customer sites locally and nationally with the Team is required 10 weeks of the year (January
- May as peak road season). During road travel, typical schedule is Monday
- Sunday 12+ hours / day.
Depending on project scope, a travel assignment could be 5-25 days. All hours worked after 40 are paid at 1.5 hourly rate.
Duties:
Hard face welding (will teach as necessary) Setting up and fine tuning automatic welder Maintaining paper work for inventory and orders Assisting Team with other shop projects as needed Plasma cutting & Oxy Acetylene Torch Experience & Skills
- Required Very mechanically inclined Basic welding skills Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding Self-motivated and hard working Ability to excel in a workplace with few employees Good communication and ability to work well with others Detail oriented High school diploma or equivalent Experience & Skills
- Desired, but not required Maintenance experience Offroad forklift experience Manufacturing experience
MSHA / OSHA
Industrial electronics experience Strong math skills in basic algebra
