Corman Railroad Group is seeking a welder to join our team in Nicholasville, KY.

Responsibilities:

Perform work on earth moving equipment, railroad equipment, and other structures Perform other duties as required.

Specialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience:

5 plus years' experience in fabrication, Mig and stick welding Have passed or able to pass state certification 3G/4G welding test using .045 flux core Able to read and understand blueprints Able to design and build projects Experience with brake press, shear, plasma cutter, torch, and iron worker Must be able to travel as needed

Physical Requirements:

Able to perform physical strenuous work Able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs Able to navigate into confined spaces as necessary Requires frequent twisting while operating equipment R.J.
