GRPB Description:

Fabrication of stainless steel and mild steel components & assemblies to drawings using GTAW, FCAW and GMAW welding equipment, grinding, band saws, plasma torch. Qualification under TevTech WPS's. Gas distribution system fabrication includes orbital welding.

Experience:

4-5 years' experience with welding GTAW and GMAW stainless and mild steel Some assembly and/or operation of vacuum equipment. Some experience with installation, testing, troubleshooting & commissioning of industrial equipment and electronic instrumentation & process controls. Understanding of piping and instrument diagrams, assembly drawings. Incoming and sub-assembly inspection.

Requirements:

GTAW, FCAW and GMAW welding Thorough understanding of mechanical drawings and welding symbols. Ability to work off Piping & Instrument Diagrams, assembly drawings. Mechanical skills, including working with hand tools, cranes, lifts and fork trucks.

Computer skills:

MS Office Hands-on installation of instrumentation and process control May on occasion; Assembly of vacuum furnaces (including piping, frames, gas distribution systems, etc.) Operation and testing of vacuum furnaces (including loading, monitoring, unloading, fluid evaluation/changes as needed, insulation repair/replacement as required) Field service of vacuum furnaces and components. Shipping and receiving, including incoming order inspections. Order inspections will include the use of micrometers, tape measures, and angle measurements.

Travel:

10-20% travel to customer sites for system installation and field service.
