An Aerospace Manufacturing firm located in the Frederick, MD is seeking an individual to TIG weld precision sheet metal and machine parts. They must be able to read engineering drawings, hold close tolerances (+\- .005 to +\- .010) and use basic hand measuring tools. Welder must have a working knowledge of maintaining overall dimensions using the quickest and most cost effective fixturing possible. Elaborate fixturing is not feasible in most cases since all parts are of a different configuration. They must be able to control their heat \ warpage and hand straighten the majority of their own parts when necessary. Most work is going to be an aluminum alloy with the occasional mild steel and stainless. Average thickness ranges are from .040 to .125, and sometimes thicker. Welder must be able to pass a weld certification test in accordance with

AWS D17.1

- 2001 and others, as they become more efficient in our process. Spot welding and soldering knowledge is definitely a plus. Looking for the right individual who takes pride in their work and works well as a team. Pay shall be based on individuals experience.

Hours:
