Job Description
Pipe Welder Job Description Miller Refrigeration Co Inc is seeking experienced, highly motivated pipe welder(s) to install high end ammonia refrigeration piping and components for our valued customers across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Candidates should be well rounded, work well in small teams, be focused and work safely. Our work is primarily in the food and beverage sector, hockey rinks and industrial process cooling. Our work is based out of our Gray Maine shop but travel Mon-Friday will be required when the work is located out of town. We provide company vehicles for all work operations and provide all necessary tools and equipment. Pipe welding ranges from ½" to 12" carbon and stainless-steel pipe, utilizing butt weld and socket weld fittings. Weld quality is a primary concern for this position, and often X-ray is required on butt-weld joints. Occasional structural and GMAW welding is required for building skid frames, pipe supports/hangers etc.
