Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this vital role, you will utilize a variety of welding techniques to assemble, repair, and maintain metal structures, piping systems, and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and precision. Duties Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and pipe welding according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute fabrication and pipefitting tasks Read and utilize blueprints, schematics, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure precise welds and assemblies Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting components using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols Install piping systems including plumbing, fire sprinkler fittings, pipeline assembly, and pipe installation in accordance with NFPA standards and ASME codes & standards Conduct pipe threading, soldering, pipe welding, and fire sprinkler fitting with attention to detail for durability and compliance Maintain safety regulations by following OSHA guidelines, NFPA standards, power tool safety procedures, and site-specific safety protocols at all times Assist in rigging operations for lifting heavy materials or equipment during fabrication or installation processes Support maintenance activities by inspecting welds and piping systems for integrity and performing repairs as needed Requirements Proven experience in welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, Stick welding, TIG welding, and pipe welding within construction or manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings for fabrication projects Mechanical knowledge related to pipefitting, plumbing systems, sprinkler systems installation, and general construction practices Ability to operate hand tools such as calipers, power tools safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and soldering processes for various materials Understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards, NFPA codes for fire protection systems, ASME standards for pressure vessels & pipelines Construction site experience with an emphasis on pipe installation or fabrication projects is highly desirable Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining safety standards Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams Join us in delivering top-tier craftsmanship on exciting projects!
