Job Description
MIG/TIG Welder, Fabricator, Laser Helper 1 st shift 7:00 to 3:30 Small laser cutting and sheet metal fabricating job shop looking for versatile team member that can perform the following. Mig and tig welding, loading unloading lasers deburring and packing parts. Experience hand held laser welder would be helpful. Welding work varies from one off to production welding. Material is primarily sheet steel and stainless sheet. Could also include general shop labor, deburring parts, loading parts to a CNC machine, and making deliveries. Should be able to read blue prints and use calipers and micrometers. A team player who takes pride in their work.
Candidate Requirements:
- Have welding experience or attended welding program at GRCC.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and 70lbs on occasion
- Must have great initiative / will to work.
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must have a current valid drivers license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to follow directions
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must maintain good attendance
- Must have high school or equivalent education
- Must be able to pass drug screening Health care available employee pays 30% employer 70% Matching simple IRA up to 3% after minimum hours are met.
