Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fabricating and welding components, particularly in construction site environments. This role involves interpreting schematics, and utilizing various power tools and equipment to ensure high-quality production standards. Responsibilities Fabricate metal components according to specifications and schematics. Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques to join metal parts. Utilize power tools and equipment to assist in the fabrication process. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Ensure all fabricated items meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members on construction site projects to meet deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role in a construction site environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools safely. Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints. Experience working with ductwork is preferred. Familiarity with welding techniques and metal finishing. Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers for precise measurements. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
