Job Description
Eaton's
IS AER FED
division is currently seeking a Welder- 2nd Shift to join our team in Jackson, MI! The core hours are 4 pm
- 12:30 am, Monday
- Friday.
Essential Functions:
- Tig Welding Titanium, Aluminum, Inconel, Stainless Steel and Carbon materials ranging in thickness from 0.020" to 0.120" and O.D.'s from 0.188"
- 2.00"
- Inspection of parts using fixtures, gages, and other inspection equipment.
- Using blueprints to accurately create welds.
- Active involvement in creating a safe workspace and following safety best practices.
- Work on cross functional Lean/Continuous Improvement Teams to improve manufacturing process efficiency and customer quality and delivery performance.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic)Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Certification in Welding from an accredited institution OR a minimum of 1 year of (GTAW) TIG Welding experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Miller Dynasty Power Supply preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and WPS/PQR instructions preferred.
- Demonstrated aptitude using calipers, micrometers and visual weld inspection knowledge preferred.
