Job Description
Job Description Highland Tank operates seven state-of-the-art fabrication facilities. We are proud to offer the security of decades of full service by a sound company that has grown to become the nation's premier steel tank manufacturer. Highland Tank is looking for a Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Mancelona, MI.
Job Duties:
Requirements include: Weld and fabricate as trained Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes (training provided) Comfortable using electric grinding equipment Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. climb ladders, work at heights up to 16 ft., and periodically work in confined spaces Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager.Required Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
