This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking stability, with a typical permanent hire after a successful probationary period. Most openings are currently on 3rd shift, but 1st and 2nd shifts may have future opportunity. Compensation is $16.50-20.00/hr depending on experience and shift. Candidates should possess previous welding experience or training as they will need to pass a weld test (MIG) as part of the interview process. Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on various components according to blueprints and technical specifications. Measure, cut, and align metal workpieces accurately to $1/32"$ using tape measures and hand tools. Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet structural and aesthetic requirements; grind and finish welds as needed. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order, reporting any mechanical issues to leadership. Maintain a clean and organized workstation while strictly adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Work effectively with the production team to meet daily output goals and deadlines.
Skills & Qualifications:
Prior experience in MIG welding or formal welding education. You will be asked to demonstrate your skills via a weld test during the interview. Ability to read a tape measure accurately to $1/32". A consistent job history and a dedication to excellent attendance. Comfort standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
