Monday - Friday Position OverviewCardinal Staffing is seeking an experienced Aluminum MIG Welder for our client in Southgate, MI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with aluminum MIG welding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality welds in a manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on aluminum components used in tarp systems and related products. Fabricate and assemble aluminum parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and work instructions. Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces. Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity. Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and production standards. Qualifications Previous aluminum MIG welding experience is required. Ability to perform clean, consistent, and accurate welds. Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. Ability to read a tape measure and follow specifications. Familiarity with welding equipment and basic fabrication tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to successfully complete a welding test. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements. Ability to safely handle welding equipment and materials. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
