Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder & Fabricator to support the design, fabrication, assembly, and installation of automated equipment and custom machinery. This position will work closely with engineers, automation technicians, and other fabricators to build high-quality machine frames, guards, fixtures, brackets, and other fabricated components used in industrial automation systems. Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication specifications. Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components. Fabricate machine frames, bases, platforms, guarding, brackets, fixtures, and custom assemblies. Cut, drill, bend, fit, and finish metal components using shop equipment and hand tools. Measure and inspect parts to ensure proper dimensions, alignment, and fit-up. Assemble fabricated components for automated machinery and production systems. Work with engineers to modify and improve designs for manufacturability and ease of assembly. Experience 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience; automation or machine-building experience preferred. Ability to read mechanical drawings and welding symbols. Proficiency with MIG welding; TIG experience is a plus. Experience working with structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Strong understanding of measurements, tolerances, fit-up, and weld quality. Join our team if you're passionate about metal fabrication and automation! Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:
