We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our growing manufacturing team producing high-quality stainless steel Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) ion pumps used in advanced technology applications. What You'll Do Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel components. Complete primarily butt welds with occasional piping and specialty welds. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Weld both standard and custom product configurations. Produce high-quality welds while meeting production schedules. Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and specification compliance. Work on short production runs with a variety of parts and assemblies. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with handling and positioning materials up to 50 lbs. Qualifications Required Current welding certification or equivalent TIG welding experience. Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience. Experience welding stainless steel. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic. Preferred Experience with Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) products. Experience in custom fabrication or high-mix/low-volume manufacturing. Ability to adapt to varying product designs and specifications.
