Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Join a Growing Manufacturing Team Adecco is seeking a skilled Welder II for a full-time opportunity in Chaska, MN. This position is ideal for individuals with welding experience who take pride in producing high-quality work, maintaining safety standards, and working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and set up welding tools, fixtures, and equipment for production jobs Arrange and position parts for welding and staging processes Perform manual welding according to specifications and quality standards Complete quality inspections and document results according to established control plans Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, print tolerances, and work orders Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the assigned work center Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Meet company production, efficiency, and quality standards Support continuous improvement initiatives for safety and quality Cross-train and assist in multiple workstations and departments as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders Working knowledge of welding symbols, print tolerances, and measuring equipment Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred 1+ years of experience in a metal manufacturing environment Ability to pass AWS certifications for MIG welding steel and aluminum Experience producing quality work while meeting production standards Ability to obtain and maintain certifications in multiple welding processes Work Environment This position is performed in a manufacturing setting and may involve: Working near moving mechanical equipment Exposure to vibration and moderate to loud noise levels Occasional exposure to electrical hazards Standing for extended periods of time Physical Requirements Regular standing, walking, and use of hands and fingers Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, balancing, and climbing Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Ability to maintain visual focus for detailed inspection work, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition Apply today to take the next step in your welding career with Adecco.
Pay Details:
