WELDERS - BRING YOUR SKILLS. BUILD SOMETHING BIG. SCHWING
America is hiring experienced Welders! If you take pride in laying down a clean weld, know your way around a blueprint, and want to work on equipment that is built to perform in some of the toughest environments, we want to hear from you. This isn t repetitive, basic welding. You ll work with large, complex components and use your skills to help build the heavy equipment SCHWING is known for. What You ll Do As a Welder at SCHWING America , you ll use your welding expertise to produce high-quality components while working from detailed blueprints and specifications.
You will:
Perform position welding with a high degree of skill and accuracy Read and interpret blueprints to determine weld locations, components, and layouts Weld component parts according to prints and product specifications Grind, deburr, and polish components to create a high-quality finished product Inspect your work to ensure welds meet established quality standards Complete re-welds and repairs to German DIN/AWS standards Work closely with your Production Lead to meet daily production requirements Identify and communicate safety, equipment, tooling, or quality concerns Use barcode scanners and computers to access work instructions and track labor What We re Looking For We re looking for welders who care about the quality of their work and are comfortable working independently in a manufacturing environment.
Qualified candidates will have:
Technical degree in Welding Ability to pass SCHWING America welding tests and maintain welding certification
AWS D1.1
qualification Strong blueprint-reading skills Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Ability to pass an annual Jaeger vision examination Why SCHWING?
