Duties Perform MIG welding to produce galvanized steel gates for the fencing industry. Use hand tools for various welding-related tasks such as sawing, bending, punching, tapping, grinding, cutting, and drilling. Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and pipe cutting/notching tools safely during assembly tasks. Keeps work area clean and organized. Assist with quarterly inventory cycle counts in the welding shop. Prepares finished gates for shipping. Learn and assist with gate welding fabrication and finishing duties in the welding shop. Qualifications Proven manufacturing or construction site experience with hands-on welding and fabrication tasks. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and machining equipment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one; experience with construction or manufacturing environments highly desirable. General fabrication shop knowledge required.
