ASME B31.3
certification. This role is responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts using MIG and TIG welding methods while working with materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. The successful candidate must demonstrate precision, quality, and strict adherence to industry codes and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Set up, operate, and maintain MIG/TIG welding equipment. Weld and fabricate components with precision, ensuring high-quality and durable welds. Work with materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Inspect and test welds to meet specifications, quality standards, and certification requirements. Ensure all welding is performed in accordance with BPE andASME B31.3
code standards. Follow all safety guidelines and always use proper protective equipment. Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, cleaning, and polishing as required. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule. Qualifications BPE andASME B31.3
welding certification preferred, but not required! Proven experience as a MIG and/or TIG welder. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety procedures. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time. Work Environment Industrial shop environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and noise. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as welding helmets, gloves, and protective clothing is required.
