Job Description
Lead Production Welder Full-Time | 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) Teske Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Lead Welder to help drive quality, productivity, and consistency on our production floor. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys setting the pace, tackling challenging weldments, and helping other welders succeed. If you're the type of welder who takes pride in doing things right, works with urgency, and naturally leads by example, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do Perform high-quality MIG welding on production parts and assemblies Lead by example through strong work ethic, quality, and productivity Set up and weld complex fixtures and weldments Read blueprints and welding symbols accurately Assist with training and mentoring newer welders Help identify and solve production or quality issues Work closely with supervisors to keep jobs moving efficiently Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet company quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area What We're Looking For 5+ years of welding experience preferred Strong MIG welding skills required Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings Consistently produces quality work with attention to detail Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision Positive attitude and willingness to help teammates Aluminum welding experience is a plus but not required Previous experience as a lead welder or go-to shop welder is preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Schedule Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 8-hour shifts Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience 401(k) with company match Health insurance Paid time off Employee discounts
