TIG Welder At AWI Manufacturing, we are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to become part of our dynamic team. We provide all necessary tools and equipment to perform your job, along with reimbursement for safety boots and prescription safety glasses.
Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding with precision and expertise, particularly on stainless steel fabrication. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accuracy in welding. Conduct high-quality welds while adhering to company standards. Use MIG welding as needed for specific tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Demonstrate a positive attitude with self-initiative and the ability to work independently. Take direction from your lead with an open mind, offering suggestions for improvement where necessary. Work with minimal direction, leveraging your experience and personal insight to achieve project goals. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Follow all safety protocols and maintain safety standards throughout the work process. Perform quality control checks to ensure that welds meet required specifications and standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG and MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work both independently and within a team. Must be able to pass a welding test as part of the hiring process. Strong computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to operate a forklift and use overhead cranes when needed. Ready to Take the Next Step?
