Welder/fabricator apprentice

KC Weld & Fab is looking for an Apprentice Welder / Fabricator to join our shop immediately. We're a custom metal fabrication company in the Kansas City area working on a wide variety of fabrication and welding projects. Our work includes projects at the KC Wheel and numerous fabrication projects throughout the KC Crossroads area. We're looking for someone dependable who wants to learn the trade and grow with the company.

Starting pay:

$20-24/hour Immediate start available Experience is a plus, but not required. We're willing to train the right person if you: show up on time, work hard, pay attention, and want to learn fabrication and welding the right way. What you'll be doing: Assisting fabricators and welders Grinding, cutting, fitting, and material prep Learning MIG/TIG welding Shop cleanup and organization Reading tape measures and blueprints General fabrication work

Requirements:

Reliable transportation Positive attitude Ability to lift materials and work in a fabrication shop environment Basic hand tool knowledge preferred Welding school or shop experience is a bonus If interested, message us with: your experience, availability, and a little about yourself.
