Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our growing team! As a Welder, you will work under direct supervision, assembling architectural railing and other pieces as specified on job tickets, using a variety of tools, equipment, and techniques. Responsibilities Participate in the company's Zero-Incident Safety Culture. Comply with all environmental and safety regulations. Review material requirement lists, read job tickets for accuracy prior to beginning work, and report inaccuracies. Read and interpret the job ticket to determine appropriate order of operations to complete work. Set up railing and/or assembly jigs. Join and fabricate aluminum materials according to job ticket and departmental procedures. Utilize MIG welding equipment and a variety of hand tools, measuring devices, and other basic shop equipment to complete assembly process. Inspect welds to published shop standard. Maintain and clean work area, tools, and equipment in accordance with 5S Program. Operate D365 tablet to track work progress. Follow documented procedures and work instructions to perform tasks. Follow departmental and company safety rules and standards. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (required unless noted) High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of MIG welding experience Aluminum experience preferred Good hand-eye coordination skills, ability to grasp, manipulate and position various components and machine parts. Basic math skills and ability to read measurements Mechanical aptitude and ability to use various machines and tools Ability to read and interpret shop drawings Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand, must be able to exchange accurate information Physical Demands and Work Environment The work environment is manufacturing based. Noise levels may be moderate to high. Employee may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. Operate and manipulate tools and materials. Remain in a stationary position for majority of the working shift. Frequently walk, reach, pull, push, stoop, and bend. Protective equipment will be provided and is required to be worn.
Hourly Rate:
