AES Manufacturing, LLC is committed to the research, development and marketing of construction related products and to developing a reputation for integrity, strength and quality as a premier manufacturer of industry-leading products. We're currently seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our growing fabrication team. This will be an AES step 5 position.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator with a strong background in custom fabrication. The ideal candidate must be able to read blueprints, work independently or as part of a team, and demonstrate precision and attention to detail in every weld.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches Execute custom fabrication jobs from start to finish Use hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment to cut, form, and finish components Ensure high-quality welds that meet project specifications and industry standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience (required) Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in custom metal fabrication Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings Familiarity with shop safety standards and best practices Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TIG welding (a plus) Forklift operation experience or certification
