Job Description
Apply in person at (45 Searcy Rd, Belmont, MS 38827) Carolina Carports Inc. is currently seeking Welders to join our team at our Georgia manufacturing facility. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive starting pay of $16.00/hour and up , based on experience. For over 28 years , Carolina Carports Inc. has been a leading manufacturer of high quality metal garages, metal barns and commercial buildings, proudly serving customers across more than half of the United States. As we continue to grow, we're looking for dependable team members who are ready to build a long term career with us.
Responsibilities:
- Welding and fabricating metal components to assemble structural buildings
- 40 hour work weeks
- Operating various types of welding equipment
- Using hand tools and power tools to grind, cut and finish products
- Operating forklifts and other heavy machinery to move materials around the shop
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- No experience needed or up to a year
- Experience with welding, assembling, forklift operation, fabricating
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools used in welding
