Job Description

Shipyard/marine or heavy industrial welding experience preferred.5 years of shipyard experience is a plus.
Must have Flux-Core (FCAW) experience welding carbon steel pipe.
Must have
Experience with GTAW/TIG, SMAW/Stick, and FCAW welding processes.
Must be able to read and interpret isometrics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
Must understand proper joint preparation and pipe fit-up/alignment.
Must be able to clean and prepare weld joints and remove slag/spatter using grinders and chipping hammers.
Must be capable of producing precision, quality welds on piping systems.
Must be able to pass required hands-on pipe welding test.
